Vivica A. Fox A-rrested for DUI

TMZ has learned Vivica A. Fox has been busted for DUI.

It happened last night on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley at 10:57 PM. We're told Fox passed a marked black and white while going approximately 80 mph. Sources say the officers went after the 2007 Cadillac Escalade she was driving.

The officers administered a field sobriety test -- which Fox was unable to perform. The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant was then placed under arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Fox was taken to Van Nuys jail where she submitted to two breathalyzer tests. CHP spokesman Leland Tang told TMZ, "It was definitely over the .08 legal limit."

Fox was cited and released on her own recognizance and ordered to appear in court.

52. Big deal. Everybody drives drunk. I do it at least once or twice a week and I never killed nobody. Just pour your drink in a coke can bro. I got pulled over once and I just started crying and told the bitch that my aunt had died that day. She let me off. You freaks are so against anybody having a good time. I get naked too when i drive. 53. Who CARES! There are more important things in this world to be concerned about than some has been celeb being arrested for a DUI. I don't care who she is she should be charged and treated like everyone else. I am so sick and tired of hearing some celeb is in rehab, celeb was drunk, celeb this and that! Give me a break!!!! Send her to jail and not a spa, take her license away and be done with it but don't waste my time thinking this is "front page news".

I was hit by a drunk driver also.. The drunk driver ran a red light traveling 50 mph and broad sided me killing his wife. I was the last thing she seen alive and i will never forget the moment before impact as her and i locked eyes knowing what was about to happen she was pointing, screaming and yelling at me as she was thrown into the windshield on impact. I knew she was dead before I even finshed spinning for the impact.

The last I seen of their vehicle it was air-born about ten feet in the air. When i came to a rest from impact i looked back to see that she was ejected and was crushed when their own Vehicle landed on her. By the time I got to their car a bunch of people lifted the car off of her trying to save her life.. But i knew that was already to late as i seen here impact into the windshield it was a violent impact. The sight of her of her laying on the pavement blood coming from her nose mouth, one side of her face totally crushed from hitting the windsield and her eyeball on the other side hanging out with optical nerve still attached to it..

This is something I have to live with for the rest of my life it took me 8 months to recover from the physical pain and injury cause by the accident. The anguish i went through blaming myself for not being able to avoid the accident lasted a few months but the images of seeing her last moment of life when she impacted the windshield and the images of her laying in the street will last my lifetime. And i am just one of the many victims of this one selfish act by a drunk driver.

The shocker is he was 78 she was 76.. Because of his age and the fact that he ended up in a nursing home from his injurys and do to his age he was not charged. I can understand that but letting these stars go with a slap on the hand is goig to get someone killed.

DUI needs to have even more tuffer laws then we have now and legal limit needs to be lowered to .06 or even .05 BAC. USA has some of the most lax laws when it comes to drunk drivers compared to a lot of other coutnrys. And everyone needs to be prosecuted evenly across the board.

Sorry my post was so graphic but these people that choose to drink and drive need to understand the risk they are taking and the Damage the can cause just by one selfish act..

60. I hope when authorities released they made sure she had someone to drive her. Otherwise, wouldn't they have put themselves in the position of supporting her DUI?
