61. Are all celebrities drunks -- or all drunks celebrities?

62. Some of you are idiots, asking who is she and has she done anything since Independence Day. She is one of the busiest actresses around. I was alittle surpised by this news, but this is something that can happen to many folks who do not make the right call to not drive after a social function. And I could never understand why this classy woman would want to date Fifty Cent, or Fiddy Cent as we in the African community refer to him. He does have a 'real' name, and its Curtis Jackson. Yes caucasian folks, he really does have a real name. lol I am sure she is kicking herself for driving under the influence.

63. Slow Ride1

Sadly I think it is going to take a celeb killing someone before they start cracking down on them. Citing and releasing someone on DUI charges in definatley a sign that our courts cater to these celebs and are not held to the same accountablity as the rest of society...

And my heart goes out to you and your loss.

64. #41 GET REAL
That's a really good question. Honestly, at this point I have no idea. It could be both for all we know.

65. She has the money to call for a car. Why is she driving drunk.

Viveca,
If you read this, please don't do this again. You live in my area and I would not want you hurting my family. Shame on you. You know how Brandy killed someone near the 101 off-ramp from the 405, well, is that what you want to do too? No one ever intends to have an accident, thus the term, "accident." Sure, if it happened, you would have to hire your publicist to do some spin-doctoring for you, but who can you hire to bring a dead loved one back? Just quit taking chances. Your night in jail is nothing to a lifetime of a lost loved one.

You wonder why I am on my soap box I suppose. Well, my friend was killed by a drunk driver and she was a lot younger than you, young enough to be your daughter. Now, she doesn't get to continue her life. It happens in an instance. Get help now!!! Your inconvenience to leave your car and take a cab is nothing compared to the loss of a loved one.

66. There is one question I forgot to ask: Are there any taxis in L.A.? At all? Maybe if celebs had the taxis number on speed dial, there would be less accidents and no DUI charges.

70. Letting her out on her own recondences??? Yes that is say PD. I was nearly killed when I was 17 by some dumb idiot drinking and driving and like most celebrities he got off with a slap on the wrist while i still can hardly move. Why doesnt someone make an example out of some drunk before everyone gets killed? Does it take someone dying for them to keep them for a hour?

71. Drunk driving offenses are the number one cause of death on our highways . I recently attended a 24 hour class on DWI dection based on the guidelines set up by the National Highway Traffic Safety Adminstration (NHSTA) . The numbers were disturbing .

It is estimated one out of four drivers is impaired on a daily basis . In 2002 , alcohol-related fatalities rose to 17,419 representing 41 percent of all traffic fatalities .(NHSTA 2002 FARS data) . Impaired drivers take more risks and have slower reaction times than a sober driver . I encourage everyone not to drive impaired . The risks are just too great . Further , the legal issues are enormous such as criminal and civil punishment .

73. okay, here it is.

Celebrities have reached such insanity over their addiction to being and staying famous that they have now gone so far down the "Sewage Pipe of Hollywood", trying to be another Paris HIlton, and jealous of all the publicity and money she makes, so they are copying her. At any cost and at the same time influencing young girls all over the world to be sluts and drunks.

At the same time they are living irresponsibly and at the same time making a mockery of the recovery process.

I blame rehab money grubbers at $35,000 a month, who cater to these low life's. It is their duty to enforce one of the main tenants of Narcotics Anonymous And Alcoholics Anonymous "To remain anonymous regarding radio, press and TV .

One reason that rule was established was to not discourage those all over the world who are really trying to pay their own price to remain clean and sober.

Then comes the media..they have sunk so far down the drain of this sewage pipe and so desperate for ratings they glamorize this to the point that it appears from all the insanity of our country and those who are in charge of running it that everyone is on drugs, including Judges, politicians, (they allow the drugs to flow across our borders..thank you Pres. Bush and Vicente Fox) sports stars, etc.

Our country is imploding and these are only the signs that we have set ourselves up to be taken over by our enemies. Our country is commiting National suicide and they don't even know it. I guess we better all go out and buy our prayer rugs, because that is where all these people are leading us too. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEsh

Screw the media, idiot celebs.

74. I have no tolerance for people who get behind the wheel when they have been drinking.
It is simple. You drink, you just don't drive. Call a taxi or a friend. When a celeb is caught drinking and driving I just see red, they have enough money to afford a taxi and plenty of friend, sudo-friends and assistants who can drive them home.

There is just no excuse for driving drunk, ever.

75. Ms. Fox didn't "just make a mistake" as some previously stated. DUI is a criminal act.
I don't like the idea of someone feeling they're above the law doing 80 mph crashing into or killing someone's young son or daughter on the way home from their part time job. Or anyone, for that matter. A person who makes the heinous decision to drive drunk is definitely all me, me, me and inconsiderate or unconcerned with her fellow man. Vivica has a big lesson to learn here, and a lot to think about.
