34. I do not agree that Phil ought to be voted next for the vote-for-the-worst. Phil has a good singing voice, and his only liability is that he is bald! But who cares? It is a hundred times better to see a bald headed guy with a good singing voice, than a scrubbly looking and awfully smelly-looking guy be seen on TV. Phil may not be the next idol, but let's not take his being bald against him!

35. I hope that for the next season, the judges should be more careful during auditions. They should really scrutinize those who audition with the agenda of having their 5 minutes of fame even if they croak like a frog! And be wary of those who "kinda sounds OK"...and include them for the first round, then later lambast them and humiliate them!

If they do not sound very good, oust them! If they sound very good, let them in. Personality and looks can be improved and made over...but a singing voice? Either one has it or not! Viewers have had enough of the Hungs and the Sanjayas...get serious, judges!

39. What is it with people who post on here not being able to spell? Did any of you people go to school? Geez, it's pathetic!

Chris Richardson needs to go next. He is horrible, but the judges have pimped him through. Not once were they critical of him until last week. He looks like a deer in the headlights. He has no personality and his voice is a weak imitation of Justin Timberlake, which is really no big deal because Timberlake is also highly over-rated.

And people making fun of Melinda's looks should be slapped upside the head. Good grief this woman has an uncommon birth defect where the cervical spine is shorter than normal and the jawbone is elongated. Leave her alone - she blows away everyone else left this season! I would buy her CD the day it's released.

42. Actually, I think Phil has by far the best voice of the men. I think he has a problem connecting with the audience (but did great last week)), and that keeps people from realizing how good he is. I close my eyes sometimes when people sing and I ask myself, "Would I buy this voice on a CD?" Blake and Chris do absolutely NOTHING for me, and while I'm not a Phil fan, I think he's by far the BEST male voice there. He is NOT the worst.

43. i, for one, am sick and tired of people picking on phil. obviously, all the jordin sparks fans out there didn't seem to notice how rude she was on elimination night when she got put in the group with phil and chris because she thought she was in the "loser" group. how dare she roll her eyes and yap to someone how she was shocked. well, she got all happy again when she found out differently. how dare she act that way. oh, i forgot, it was her 17 year old mentality rearing its ugly head. who the hell wants a spoiled brat for an american idol? who cares if her dad was a football player. who ever heard of him anyway? shame on her....she should just go back to being a plus sized model. at least phil never acted that way. i have never seen a contestant be so disrespectable to the others. just think how she will act if the judges don't praise her one time.

45. Phil was nominated not because he's the worst singer but because the people at VFTW don't think he's marketable. Let's face it, in the entertainment industry, looks matter. Unless he goes into Country music, where being lame and weird looking doesn't seem to matter...I'll continue this latter...Flavor of Love Charm School is on.
